58.5 miles 19.5 mile per hour average, 104 degrees at time of finish, 165 average heart rate and sprint winner. Pretty good for a first group ride since Aiden showed up. Now I am toast and having a hard time getting rehydrated. I took a nap and then went out doing our normal stuff.

In other news it has been the hottest I can ever remember. The high temps are not all that bad but the humidity has been really high. It was 104 at 9:30 when the ride finished. The high will be around 115 or so. When it does rain it will be one heck of a storm.

Baptism complete. Aiden is now "of the people".All went well and I am sure he will post pictures soon on his site. In other news the night after the baptism Aiden was running a fever and he had an ear infection. Michelle took him in and he got a shot and all kinds of antibiotics. He is feeling well now. The monsoons are here and we are getting all kind of rain. It is rather nice to see some rain since we have not really had a good rain in about a year.
